Mother
Hubbard's
Traditional Bed
& Breakfast
The house is named
“Wannawong”,
which is Aboriginal for “place on the side of a hill”. This
Federation style home was built
in 1916, restored to its former glory and is tastefully furnished to
suit the period. Two double rooms are available with tea and coffee
making facilities in each room. One room has its own ensuite while
the other has access
to a cosy private bathroom which offers a
double shower, that also makes an ideal enclosed “bubble bath” and
spa. Breakfast may be served on the veranda, or in the formal dining
room. The veranda and gardens are an ideal place to relax and
enjoy the peace of the mountains and the visits of the wild
parrots.
